I am so very indecisive about my major/minor! I think I might have changed it again. So much for being an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist (but that sounds SO cool)!! I think I am going to still major in Psychology (because it's so interesting!!), but I am probably going to either teach Psychology and/or be a high school or college counselor (probably college, my high school counselor did not exactly make me interested in that profession).
But! I think I am going to add a minor. I am considering getting a minor in Communications. The cool thing is, I can get both done in the next 3 years! Yay! I will not have to be a fifth year senior!!! Go me!! Okay so anyways, why a minor in Communications one might ask! Well, I have absolutely no clue, but that's okay! It would be cool to write for a magazine or something like that! So why not...that can be my hobby/side job.
I'll get back with you in about a month when I decide my new career goals because as you all know, these will not last that long! :)
Anywho, so I went to my aunt's house last night to help connect her computer and to add some software to it. Little did I know, she did not even have her computer desk put together yet!!! So I spent from 3:30 until 6:00 putting together a STUPID, MASSIVE computer desk. Needless to say the computer is STILL not hooked up because I left as soon as I finished eating pizza to go to church. Mike finished putting the desk together when he got home at 6. You would figure that after 2 1/2 hours that stupid thing would have been done. RIGHT...maybe it if did not have 1000000000 parts (slight exaggeration).
About church! I went to my dad's church last night for an adult bible study. The youth group had a local band from another church that was going to be playing, so I decided to skip out on the bible study. The band was awesome! And my dad's church has a really cool drama team now...their skits were adorable. By the end of the night almost every kid that was there (at least 35) were kneeling at the alter. It was truly amazing. I was completely inspired by those kids. I really think I'm going to look into working with the youth group at my church in Columbus. Who knows what God will throw my way! :)
Until later....

As far as youth ministry goes, I know for me it has been a real blessing. Watching God move in the lives of middle school/high school kids is so touching and just... amazing. I love where God has me right now. I'm happy. I finally feel like I'm doing what he wants me to, rather than doing my own thing and feeling unfulfilled.

:) that's awesome, nicole.
on all ends.
you're so talented and so driven, that whatever it is that you decide to do you're going to be great at it! so don't sweat over it! just enjoy figuring out who you are and what you want.
on another note-- God is amazing. He'll throw you a ton if you let him, if you're willing. He'll show you your heart. The IC kids have completely changed my life.. everything about it. So I totally hear you. They really are inspiring.
Love ya.

Yeah, I told my dad about your accident. I read it on your LJ. I am glad to hear that you are doing okay and the damage was minor. The person that hit you seems psycho though!
Thanks for the reply! You are awesome! :)
Love ya!
